Living with Living Edge is a new component of le blog. We have always emphasised the story behind each piece of furniture in our range and now we’d like to extend that idea by learning of some of the stories created after the furniture leaves the showroom.
We invite you to send in any photographs you have of Living Edge furniture in your home. It could be a photograph of your dining table set for a meal, books stacked up on a side table, a little one climbing on the furniture or a snap of the cat curled up on the couch. We’d love your contribution. Email your photos (and a brief story) to living.edge.blog@gmail.com

My House
11 May 2009
This week’s Living with Living Edge is my house. I thought it was about time I bared my own home as I am always encouraging all of you to, so I have taken a few photographs of the bedrooms. We’re moving soon and have just taken down all the light fittings, so I snapped these just in time.
Please send in your own photographs to living.edge.blog@gmail.com. All contributions will go into a draw to win an Eames Hang-It-All (and the odds are good!)
Lauren
(above) Helena’s Hang It All is a favourite spot for pinochio as well as her increasingly vast collection of hats. I love the way it is able to blend in with a rather odd mix of furniture – an antique cot that was her grandmothers, a Phillippe Starck gnome side table and a striped rug from ikea.
(above & below) I have a bit of a thing for light fittings and my bernabeifreeman lace light takes pride of place in our bedroom. It works well with the high ceilings and decorative air vents in the old part of our house.

Bedtime Stories
03 April 2009
Our Living with Living Edge photo this week is from Stuart Vokes from Owen and Vokes.
“Here image of our son’s bedroom with his new Eames rocker. Like most parents, we settle-in with our son and a couple of his current-favourite books as a prelude to bedtime. There is always a request for ‘one more’ – a cunning plan to allow him to stay awake for a little longer. His Eames Rocker is where we read together. The piece sits alongside an Owen and Vokes ‘Ewan’ personal library, ISM Objects table lamp, landscape by architectural photographer Jon Linkins, and painting by Brisbane artist Mark Dean.”

Mac
27 March 2009
This week’s Living with Living Edge photo is from Alex Ritchie of E2.
“Introducing wee Mac – enjoying the rare luxury of my Eames Aluminium Group Executive chair, at home in the living room. He’s only EVER allowed to grace the white leather after a bath. For the brief tenure of his complete cleanliness he gets to model the most beautiful chair in the world. Both well-loved, Mac, West Highland Terrier, is 12 years old and the chair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames 51 years ago.”
Thanks Alex, Mac certainly does the chair justice! You’ll now go into the draw to win an Eames Hang-It-All (as will all Living with Living Edge contributions in the next 2 months… so get snapping!).

Bryan’s Home
12 March 2009
The photos below are of the home of Bryan Mahoney, Southern Regional Director of Living Edge. Bryan’s adorable son Dylan is the star of the show on his Eames Rocker (below) and is one little boy sure to learn that E is for EAMES.

Josephine and La Chaise

27 February 2009
Here’s out very first contribution to Living with Living Edge. We started our new section by asking Living Edge staff members to send in images and above is our very first photo, a pretty special one at that. This is Frank’s daughter Josephine at just 2 months old, looking pretty comfy (and very adorable) on an Eames La Chaise.
